This type of trekking
is of average difficulty. The trek goes along the northern slopes of
the Kyrgyz range. It starts from the Keghety gorge where you can see
a beautiful forest of Tien-Shan spruces and goes as far as the Red rock
valley in Bohom gorge is. At the end of the travel you can rest at the
Issyk-Kul Lake.
Season:
June, July, August and September.
Size of a group is up to 10 persons. Conditions:
Each member of the group must have his own outfit, warm clothes, raincoat,
medical and accident insurance.
Service:
"Edelweiss Travel" provides with transport (full board and
bus, accompaniment vehicle, horses), interpreters, tents, lodging at
hotels, guide service, stable-men.
DAYS:
Arrival in Bishkek.
Hotel accommodation. Sightseeing.
Transfer to
the start point of the trekking - the Keghety gorge. Special jeep
for 12-15 persons serves as an accompaniment vehicle. Setting up a
camp, adaptation to horses. Night in tents.
Radial way out
to the Kul-Tor lake. Night in tents.
Horse riding
Keghety-Tura-Kajyn. Night in tents.
Radial way out
to the Red rock gorge. Return to the camp. Rest.
Horse riding
Kock-Djar-Suu.
Radial way out
to the Red rock gorge. Night in tents. The end of the horse trekking.
Transfer Kock-Djar-Suu
-Issyk-Kul. Two nights accommodation.
Rest at the Issyk-Kul
Lake.
Transfer to Bishkek.
Departure.
Experienced guide-interpreter
and drover - the owner of horses, will accompany you en route. The riders
go along the path across the ranges, and all the load, traveling kitchen
and cook go by truck. Bivouac is pitched in advance before group arrival.
